General Rules of Discipline for Students

  • At the warning bell which is rung 05 minutes before the school time the pupils must take their places for the assembly.
  • School uniform must be worn on school days and at school functions. Every pupil is expected to be clean and tidy.
  • All pupil are strictly instructed to speak in English in School.
  • Maintain order and silence in the school premises, especially during the school hours, running, playing or shouting inside the school building is condemned.
  • Going home in between the school hours is strictly prohibited.
  • Frequent absence for feasts, weddings etc. renders the student liable for suspension / dismissal.
  • Students are forbidden to enter any classroom other than their own or to remain in the class-room during recess or  P.T.periods.
  • Pupils are expected to come to school with all that is essential for the day’s work. Borrowing of pencil, rubber etc. is discouraged.
  • Every pupil must possess a school diary which must be brought to school daily.
  • Note down your home-work and bring home-work note book every day with completely done home-work.
  • Do home-work honestly, carefully, regularly and as independently as one can.
  • Students should keep away from giving their teacher or fellow student, individual or collective presents, even on birthday.

Rules for the School Library

  • The Library and Reading Room are open on class days. Strict silence must be observed. No tiffin boxes are allowed.
  • No Book will be issued without having its detail entered it the Library Register.
  • Books are issued for the use of the borrower only.
  • Only one book for light reading may be taken at a time, but an additional one may be taken for study.
  • Damage done to books or magazines will have to be made good by the borrower.
  • A book may not be kept beyond fortnight. It may be re-issued if not in demand.
  • Students who fail to return the books in time may be fined.

Attendance Matters

  • 80% of attendance is required to be eligible for promotion to the next class.
  • Prior permission of the Principal is required for availing of leave for personal reasons.
  • All Students are expected to attend the first day of school after any vacation break.
  • In case child has been absent, the parent is expected to send a note in the calendar.
  • A student returning to school after suffering an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor’s fitness certificate permitting him/her attend school.
  • Absence from school for merely social functions is strongly discouraged.

Uniform Rules 

  •  Students are expected to come in proper and complete uniform to school at all times even during open days. The school uniform is to be worn when the student represents school for any event.
  • Uniform needs to be well maintained and clean.
  • Boys will maintain short hair and girls will use blackhair band in case of short hair and 2 plaits with while rubber bands in case of long hair.
  • Students not wearing complete uniform will be considered defaulters and parents will be asked to pick up the ward from school. In case of genuine problems parents are expected to send a written note in the calendar.
  • Wearing watches in not permitted Fancy watches will be confiscated.
  • Wearing expensive/ valuable ornaments is not allowed.
  • Nails to be cut by both boys and girls. Girls should not apply mehandi or nail polish.

Transport Rules

  • Bus facility is available on fixed routes with designated stops
  • Parents are expected to be at the stop 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival of bus.
  • Students are permitted to use only their designed bus and bus stop. No change will be allowed without written permission of the authorized person.
  • Bus will leave the stop at the designated time. In case a child misses the bus. parents are requested to drop the child to school.
  • Every bus is accompanied by a lady attendant.
  • Fixed seats will be allotted to the students in the bus. Students are expected to remain seated while the bus is in motion. Students are expected to maintain silence and behave in a decorous manner at all times.
  • The lady attendant is responsible for maintaining discipline. Any misbehavior or indiscipline must be reported in writing to the principal.
  •  In case of negligence by the bus driver or lady attendant should be brought to the notice of the transport in charge.
  • Parents are requested not to make any oral request to the bus drivers or attendants. Any request should be made in writing to the transport in- charge.
  • Though utmost care is taken while transporting the children, the school shall not be held responsible for any untoward incident.
  • In case of an emergency and the child has to leave school before school + hours the procedure to be followed is : a. Written request by the parents. b. Permission slip obtained from the office and signed by the authorized to be shown at the gate. c. School leaving register to be signed by the parents.
  • A child, who consistently reports late at the bus stop or caught misbehaving more than 3 times in the bus. will be refrained from using the bus service.
